Modern Floral Notting Hill Elopement

Agnes Black is the storyteller supreme. We love her love for love, her trademark moody lighting, and her sharp eye for all the little details that make up the bigger picture. That's why we're thrilled to feature this Notting Hill elopement shoot, which is so full of deliciousness we could cry. For your sake, though, we won't cry - we'll just walk you through her brilliance.
Somewhat ironically, as the wedding industry and inspirations get bigger, so does the demand for elopements - but this is no bad thing. This shoot perfectly showcases how you can still have the wedding of your dreams, even if it's just the two of you.
Agnes scouted out her location on Airbnb to find those gorgeous big windows and beaut interiors in the heart of Notting Hill. There, bride and groom Darcey and Elliot got ready together (why wouldn't you get ready together if they're the person that can calm you down the most?) and don't they just look incredible? Darcey's Susanna Greening dress was a stunning blend of elegant and modern, with gorgeous sublimated polkadots that came into their own in the London sun; her peachy floral Sash + Veil veil and fluffy dusky pink shoes from Topshop added some texture to those sleek lines. Keeping the floral textured theme, Elliot wore a super slick brocade jacket which glinted in the sun.
And speaking of flowers, let's just appreciate Bloaum's bouquet, shall we? Showing that a pale colour palette doesn't need to be pallid or paltry, Shelena packed it full of giant headed blooms with incredible textures, ruffles and folds, and finished with gorgeous The Natural Dyeworks ribbon.

We just love those images of them walking down Portobello Road, using the city as their backdrop before retreating to a quieter mews for a private vow exchange. Rachel Emma Studio provided printed vow cards to immortalise their promises that matched their reception stationery with a delightfully spiky font. To celebrate, Darcey and Elliot strolled back down for some relaxed portraits before coming back to the Airbnb for a romantic meal. Changing from a veil to a s u p e r cute giant hair bow from Lizzie McQuade, they enjoyed a quiet moment together before feasting on their first married meal. With another stunning arrangement from Bloaum and tied vellum and paper pretties from Rachel Emma Studio, it was a set up of total fashion-forward dreams!
