Language

• Pronouns encouraged, where known and permitted.

• Avoid gendered language unless the preferred term is known – don’t assume the people getting married want to be called a bride or a groom. I have a whole article on this for more in-depth clarity here. If something is missed, in the meantime, then the editor and proofreader will amend.

• Editor has the right to alter text to match house style.

Photography

• If you’re also supplying the accompanying photos, permission must be sought. Please send the photographer this form to fill in. We cannot publish without written permission.

• Photo credits must be supplied. Again, along with photographer pronouns, if they’re happy to supply them.

• Photo resolution must be 300dpi in order to print without pixelating.
